Job Overview:
Lake Oswego Health is seeking a healthcare professional to join our innovative medical team located in beautiful downtown Lake Oswego. As a critical link to patients and providers, you will learn about caring for patients using cutting-edge treatments and make a difference daily in the healing journeys of those we serve. This position is a full-time position, hours are Mon - Fri. (no weekends).
Interested healthcare professionals should have a minimum of six months of experience within the physician's office or clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Handle general office operations such as taking phone calls, greeting patients and maintaining a clean office space
- Schedule patients for procedures, new patient visits and return follow ups
-Prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency in completing all patient care tasks
- Perform insurance verification and obtain insurance benefit information.
- Collect and document patient payments.
- Reconcile daily accounting records.
-Promote a cohesive team environment.
- Send medical records, referrals, lab and imaging orders as requested.
Experience:
- Previous medical office experience in a patient facing role
- Computer skills, including experience with electronic health records systems
- Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer satisfaction and patient care experience.
- Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) preferred
